Fees
Fees are payable on a session by session basis by cheque or cash apart from the initial session where payment in advance may be required. Each session lasts from 50 minutes – I hour. Sometimes 1 ½ hours may be more appropriate for EMDR sessions.
The fee schedule is as follows:
Individual £60
Couple / Family £60
Organisations £55 -
Concessionary rate (unwaged adults or students funding their own therapy) £45
Supervision (1 ½ hours) £72.50
Concessionary rate for full time students funding their own therapy or supervision £65
How many sessions will I need?
This depends entirely on your situation, the difficulties
you bring and your personal preference. A single session may sometimes be all that
is needed. At the other end of the spectrum some clients may attend for more than
a year. More typically people attend between 4 and 12 sessions. It may sometimes
be possible for me to give an approximate idea of how many sessions are required
at the outset. The frequency of sessions is negotiable and you may opt out at any
point provided 48 hours notice is given.
Confidentiality
All issues remain completely confidential. Any exceptions to this
will be discussed with you during the introductory session.
I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. A copy of this is available on demand
